China Airline

Our office is right in the middle of Lajpat Nagar, at F-45 in the first part of the area. If you know Lajpat Nagar, you know it is always crowded and there is a lot of energy everywhere. We are China Airline, but our day-to-day is mostly just managing the office here in this busy Delhi neighborhood. The building is an older one, and we are surrounded by shops selling all sorts of things from clothes to electronics. Finding a parking spot near the office is a total nightmare most days, so many of us just take the metro. Inside, the space is filled with the usual office stuff like old desks, some rolling chairs that squeak, and a lot of folders. We spend our time answering emails and checking flight schedules on the computer. It gets very loud outside during the festival seasons because the market is right there. We usually have the windows shut to keep out the dust and the noise, but you can still hear the car horns. People stop by sometimes thinking we are a travel agency, and we have to explain what we do. It is a very normal, slightly hectic environment. We don’t have any fancy coffee machines, just a basic electric kettle and some tea bags in the drawer. The floor is a bit worn out from all the feet walking over it, but it serves us well enough for our work.
