Chennai Travels

We are located down in Kalyanpuri at 16/477, which is a fairly quiet part of the neighborhood compared to the main roads. Chennai Travels is not a very big office, but it fits the three of us and our equipment just fine. Most days start with opening up the shutters and letting some air in before it gets too hot. We have a couple of ceiling fans that make a lot of noise, but they keep us cool while we sort through the bookings. There is a small tea stall just a few doors down where we get our morning snacks and a bit of news from around the street. We spend a lot of time writing things down in ledgers because we still like having a physical copy of everything. The computer we use is a bit slow, but it eventually gets the job done. Sometimes neighbors stop in just to say hello or ask about the weather in other parts of the country. We have a big wooden desk that takes up most of the front room where we sit and talk to anyone who comes by. It isn't a polished or fancy place, but it is where we spend all our time. We keep the files in some plastic crates because the metal cabinet broke last year and we never got around to replacing it. It’s just a normal workplace where we try to get things sorted for folks. Every day is the same routine.
