Cheena

We are located on Bajoriya Road in Saharanpur, right near the Arpan Hospital. It’s a busy part of town because of all the people coming and going from the hospital. Our place, Cheena, is just a small setup on the side of the road. We see a lot of different faces every day. Some are in a hurry and others are just waiting around. The traffic on Bajoriya Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of horns and the general rush. We don't have a lot of space inside, but we make it work. Most of the people who work here are from the local area. We’ve known each other for a long time. It’s a simple business. We don't use any fancy systems or have a marketing person telling us what to do. We just handle the customers as they come in. Sometimes we sit outside on stools when it’s not too dusty and watch the world go by. The hospital nearby means there’s always something happening, even late at night. We keep the shop open pretty long hours just in case someone needs us. It gets cold in the winter here, so we wrap up in shawls and keep a thermos of tea ready to go. It's just a regular life in Saharanpur. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just do our bit and go home to our families when we finish up.
