Chariot Tour & Travels

Our small office is located at Rzh-879A in Rajnagar -2. Being in Palam is great because it’s a lively part of New Delhi, though the traffic right outside our door can be a real headache sometimes. Chariot Tour & Travels started out with just one rickety desk and a couple of phone lines that wouldn't stop ringing. Now we have a few more things, like stacks of old maps and printouts of flight schedules cluttering up the corners. We spend most of our day sitting at the computers trying to find the best routes for people who want to go on holiday. Sometimes the internet goes down for an hour and we just sit there drinking tea and talking to the neighbors. Palam -45 is a place where everyone seems to be in a rush. We handle everything from booking cars for local weddings to finding train tickets for long trips. The office isn't very big, so if we don't put our pens back in the drawer, they just disappear. It’s a regular street-side spot, not one of those corporate offices in a high-rise building. People often drop in just to ask about prices or to see if we have any new ideas for a weekend away. We do a lot of paperwork and sometimes our eyes get tired from looking at the screens. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and writing things down. We just keep working away at Rzh-879A until it’s time to head home.
