Chanakya Forte Grand

Our place is located in Chanakya Puri, which is a pretty well-known area here. We spend most of our time at Forte Grand just making sure the rooms are ready and the hallways are swept. It is not the kind of job where you sit around much. There is always a tap leaking somewhere or a light that needs changing, especially in an older building like this. Chanakya Forte Grand has its quirks, like the elevator that sometimes takes a bit too long, but we just deal with it as it comes. The staff here are mostly local guys who have been with us for years, so we all know how the place runs. We don't have some fancy corporate manual for everything. If a guest needs something, we just go and get it for them if we have it in the back. The lobby gets a bit of sun in the mornings which is nice, but it gets hot by noon. We mostly focus on keeping the beds made and the water running hot. It is a simple setup and we don't try to make it sound like something it isn't. People come here because they know the area and they know we are usually around to help if they need a towel or a direction. It gets busy during the wedding season, and then things get a bit chaotic, but that is just part of the hospitality life in a place like this.
