Chahat Electronics

We've been here in Govindpuri for quite some time now. Dealing with electronics isn't always easy but we make it work somehow. Most people around Govind Puri know where we are because we’ve been in the same spot for years. It is just a regular shop where we fix things and sell parts when people need them. Sometimes it gets really crowded in the afternoons when everyone comes at once. We handle a lot of different gadgets. If a TV stops working or a small appliance acts up, people bring it in to see if it can be saved. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It is just the workbench and some shelves with boxes piled high. The wiring in some of these old devices can be a real headache to figure out. I usually open up around mid-morning after finishing things at home. My cousin helps out sometimes when there are too many repairs piled up on the counter. We try to get things done by the evening so people can take their stuff back home. Sometimes parts take a few days to arrive from the main market. That’s just how it goes in this business. People stop by to ask for advice on what bulb to buy or how to fix a remote. We don't do anything too complicated, just honest work. It's a bit dusty because of the road outside but we try to keep the counter clean. Most of our neighbors stop by just to say hello while they are out getting their groceries. We've seen the area change a lot over the years.
