We are right in the middle of the chaos at Rajendra Market in Tis Hazari. Our shop covers units 137 to 139. If you have ever been to this part of town, you know it is always crowded with people, rickshaws, and delivery carts. It’s a loud place, but it has its own rhythm. We spend most of our time managing the inventory that comes in and out. The shelves are packed high with boxes, and sometimes it feels like we are playing a game of Tetris just to move things around. We have been in this market for many years, so we know most of the other shop owners and the guys who deliver our goods. The mornings are usually spent unloading stuff and checking lists. The office part is just a small desk tucked away where we keep our ledgers and some old files. It is dusty and cramped, but it works for us. We don't spend money on fancy signs or expensive furniture because that’s not what we are about. We just want to make sure the right items go to the right people. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to sit in the heat for a bit, but we just keep talking and working. It is a straightforward business life. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the next shipment or customer. It is just a regular day at the market for us.
