Central Electricity Authority Sewa Bhawan R.K.Puram New Delhi-66

We are located over in Hari Nagar, even though some people still look for us at Sewa Bhawan in R.K. Puram. Our actual spot is in New Delhi, near the Haryana border, with the pin code 110064. It’s a government office, so you can probably imagine what it looks like inside. There are plenty of old wooden desks and stacks of papers tied with those red strings. We deal with electricity matters, but we aren't the guys out fixing the lines; we do the office side of things. The building is a bit gray and the hallways are long. It gets quite hot in the summer because the building holds the heat, but we have some old coolers that help a bit. Most of us have been working here for years, and we have our little routines, like where we get our lunch or who makes the best coffee in the break room. It’s not a place with a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in, handle the files that come across our desks, and try to keep things moving. Hari Nagar is a busy area, and the traffic on the main road can be a real pain in the mornings. There’s a lot of dust from the construction nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down our keyboards. It’s a plain, honest place to work, and we just do our part for the city.
