Down here in Okhla at Cd-156-A, we spend most of our time looking at small screens and tiny screws. It’s a small shop and we have a lot of stuff crammed into the glass cases. Sometimes the floor gets dusty because of the construction work nearby. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. We mostly deal with mobile phones and all the little bits that go with them. It gets quite hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front window. We use a lot of tape on the boxes and the counter is a bit scratched up from all the phones being slid across it. Most people come in because they dropped their phone or the battery isn't holding a charge anymore. We don't have a uniform or anything, just regular clothes. The bell on the door rings every time someone walks in, and it's a bit loud. We have a radio that plays the local stations while we work. It’s not a fancy mall store, just a regular place where you can get your phone fixed. Sometimes we run out of specific parts and have to wait for the courier. Okhla is a big place but this corner is home for us. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay on top of the repairs.
