We have been sitting here at 21, First Street for a good while now. It’s right in Second Lane, Tagornagar, just inside Ayanavaram. If you know Chennai-23, you know how these streets get when it rains or during the peak summer heat. We aren't a big flashy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just us in this quiet corner. Sometimes the lane gets a bit crowded with bikes, but that’s just how it is around here. We started Celebrity Cruises mostly because we wanted to do something local. People walk in sometimes just to ask for directions, and we don't mind. The building has its quirks, like the door that sticks a bit in the humidity. Most days are pretty ordinary. We drink a lot of tea and handle whatever comes across the desk. It’s not a fancy corporate setup, just a group of people working. We've seen the neighborhood change over the years, more shops opening up and more traffic coming through Tagornagar. We like being part of the local fabric here in Chennai. It feels right to be tucked away in a residential lane rather than some big IT park. We keep things simple and try to get the work done without making a fuss. If you’re ever near the First Street area, you’ll probably see our sign. It’s a plain place, but it works for us and the people who visit.
