You can find us over at 10218/26 Bhagat Singh Nagar. It is right in the middle of Karol Bagh, which anyone who knows New Delhi knows is a very crowded and loud place. Our office is just one of many in this area. We have been at this spot for a while now. The streets are always full of people, cars, and rickshaws, so just getting into the office in the morning is an adventure. We mostly do administrative work here at C.C.E. It is a lot of sitting at desks and dealing with whatever comes across our path that day. The building is older, so the stairs are a bit narrow and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We do not worry too much about that, though. We are more concerned with making sure our records are right and that we are answering the messages we get. The fans overhead hum all day to keep the heat down. We usually order lunch from one of the local spots nearby since there are so many food stalls in Karol Bagh. It is a busy environment and there is always noise coming from the street outside, but we are used to it. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished. It is a plain, working-class kind of office. There is nothing fancy about how we do things, we just try to be reliable and get our jobs done every day.
