You can find us at C-47 in South Extension Part-I. Being in South Ex means there is always something going on outside our windows. This is where the Delhi office for Cathay Pacific Airways sits. It’s not a giant terminal, just a practical space where we handle the ticketing and the customer questions that come our way every day. We get people calling in about their flights to Hong Kong or wherever else they’re headed. Most of the time, we’re just busy checking passport details or fixing names on a booking that someone typed in wrong. It gets a bit hectic during the holiday seasons, and the phones don't seem to stop ringing then. The office itself is pretty simple. We have our desks, our computers, and a few maps on the walls. We’ve been at this South Extension address for a while, so we’re part of the local scenery now. We aren't here to give you a sales pitch. We just take the bookings and try to make sure nobody gets stuck at the gate. If the power goes out in the block, we just take a break until it comes back on. It’s a very human way of working, even if we are part of a big airline. We’re just local staff doing the desk work that keeps the planes moving. We keep the paperwork organized and try to stay calm when the schedules change at the last minute.
