Cashier

Our place is tucked away in Street Number 1 in Shakarpur. It’s a busy area, lots of noise and traffic all the time. Cashier has been at A-27 for a while. It’s not a huge office, just a few desks and a lot of paperwork usually piled up. We deal with the day-to-day stuff that comes through the door. Delhi is always moving fast, and we try to keep up, even if the internet goes slow sometimes. The neighbors are alright, mostly shops and people living upstairs. We take our lunch breaks together when we can. Sometimes we order from the place down the corner. It's nothing special, just a workplace where we do what we’re supposed to do. Getting here can be a pain because of the narrow streets, but you get used to it. We’ve had the same furniture for years. It works, so why change it? We don't have a big marketing team or anything. People just find us or hear about us from someone else. It's a practical setup. We handle the tasks, answer the phones, and close up when the sun goes down. It's honest work and it keeps us busy. There’s no point in pretending we’re something we aren't. We just show up and do the job as best we can. Sometimes the printer jams, and we all have a laugh about it.
