We are located over at F-2603 in Netaji Nagar. It’s right near Sarojini Nagar, so you can imagine the kind of traffic and crowds we see around here every day. Our work at Carzonrent, which most people know through the Hertz name, is mostly about keeping the cars moving and ready for the next person. We spend a lot of time in the parking area or in the small office area handling the keys and the booking papers. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes when many people want cars at the same hour. The New Delhi heat doesn't help when you're out checking the vehicles, but it’s part of the job. We have drivers coming in and out, and there’s always someone cleaning a windshield or checking the oil levels. It isn't a glamorous setup at all. We have desks that have seen better days and a lot of logbooks stacked up near the entrance. People come in looking for a ride for a business trip or maybe just a family outing, and we try to get them sorted as fast as we can. Some days the phones don’t stop ringing, and other times it’s quiet enough to actually hear the birds outside. We’ve been in this New Delhi-66 area for a long time, and we know the shortcuts and the trouble spots on the roads. It’s just a local operation making sure the fleet is ready.
