Carma Online is located up in Gadigarh, right near the Future Pack Higher Secondary School in Upper Jammu. It’s a bit of a different pace up here compared to the big cities. We started this place because we wanted to do something local in the online space. The school nearby means there’s always kids and parents around in the mornings and afternoons, which makes the street pretty lively. Our office is a simple one. We didn’t spend much on making it look pretty, we just wanted enough room for the computers and a place to sit. It’s a quiet area mostly, which helps us focus on what we’re doing. Sometimes the weather in Jammu gets really hot, and then the fans just don't seem to do enough, but we manage. We do a lot of our work on the web, so as long as the connection is stable, we’re happy. It’s a small group of us here. We grew up around this area, so we know most of the people nearby. We don't really have a big marketing team or anything. We just handle the online tasks as they come in. There’s a small shop down the road where we get our tea and snacks. It’s just a basic office where we spend our days. We aren't trying to be anything huge, just a steady business running out of Upper Jammu. It works for us and we like being part of the local community.
