Carlson Wagonlit Travels

Our office is over at Bk-1/195 in Shalibagh, Delhi. It’s a busy part of the city and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Carlson Wagonlit Travels is what’s on the door. It’s mostly just a few of us sitting at desks with a lot of papers and phones. We handle all sorts of travel things, like booking flights or sorting out hotels for people. A lot of folks from the Shalibagh area come in just to ask questions about where they should go or what documents they need. We aren't a big flashy agency with huge posters everywhere. It’s a pretty functional space. The tea guy comes around a couple of times a day and that’s usually when we take a break. We deal with the usual Delhi heat and the noise from the street outside. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually get the filing done. We try to keep things organized but with all the different bookings, it can get a bit messy on the desks. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years while we stayed in the same spot. People know they can just drop by and talk to us. We don’t have a script or anything. We just listen to what people need and try to find a way to make it work on the computer. It's honest work and we've been doing it a long time. It keeps us busy.
