Carlson Wagonlit Travels

You can find our office at 535, Vikas Kunj, which is part of the larger Vikas Puri neighborhood. We’ve been here for a good while, helping people figure out their travel plans. It’s not a massive corporate headquarters, just a local branch where we sit and talk through flight schedules and hotel bookings. Most of the day is spent staring at screens and waiting for airline systems to load. We have a few chairs for people to sit while we look things up for them. It gets quite busy in the mornings when everyone seems to want their tickets at once. We’ve got maps on the walls and piles of brochures that we try to keep neat, but they always end up in a mess. Working in travel means things are always changing, so we’re constantly updating our notes. The office itself is pretty simple—just some desks, a couple of old printers, and a water cooler in the corner. We know the regulars who live around here and stop by to ask about holiday prices. It’s a nice way to spend the day, even if the phone never stops ringing. We’re right here in New Delhi, so we get to see a lot of the city's hustle and bustle from our window. It’s just a group of us trying to make sure people get where they need to go without too much trouble. We don’t have fancy uniforms, just comfortable clothes for a long day of work.
