Carlson Wagonlit Travel

Our office is in Panaji, Goa, which is a nice change from the big cities. We are located at S-1, B-17 in the Cruz Apts. That’s in La Campala Colony, specifically the Miramar area. You can smell the sea air sometimes if the wind is right. It’s a travel office, so we spend our time booking flights and organizing trips for people. The building is an apartment complex, so it feels very local and low-key. We aren’t in a touristy hotel or a big office tower. It’s just a room with desks, some travel posters on the walls, and a few computers. Carlson Wagonlit Travel is a big name, but this branch is small. We know the neighbors. The colony is quiet mostly, which is good for focusing. Panaji has its own pace, a bit slower than Mumbai or Delhi. We take our breaks and maybe walk down towards the beach area if there’s time. The 403001 area is pretty central. We handle a lot of corporate travel, but it doesn’t feel very corporate in here. It’s just us doing the bookings and making sure the tickets are right. No fancy uniforms, just regular clothes. It’s a decent place to work. We spend our days staring at screens and talking on the phone to airlines. It is a quiet life in a beautiful part of the country.
