Carlson Wagonlit Travel

You can find us over at 44-F2 in the Mahalaxmi Apartments. This is in Guru Angad Nagar Extension, which is part of the Laxmi Nagar area in Delhi. It has a bit of a residential feel since we are based in an apartment building rather than a big glass tower. We do travel management here for Carlson Wagonlit, which basically means we sit at our desks and figure out the best ways for people to get from one city to another. It is a lot of screen time and talking to airlines on the phone. Laxmi Nagar is always crowded and there is a lot of energy in the streets, which we see every day when we come in to work. Our office space is very simple. We have our desks, some filing cabinets, and a kettle for making tea in the afternoons. We are not trying to be a big corporate hub; we just handle the travel needs of our clients as they come in. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, especially when there are a lot of trips being planned at once during the busy season. We like the neighborhood because everything you need is right nearby, like the little shops and food stalls. It is a straightforward operation. We focus on the details of the trips and making sure the tickets are issued correctly. It is the kind of place where we know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers. (251 words)
