Our travel office is located right in Malviya Nagar here in New Delhi. It has been in this spot for quite a while now. People mostly just wander in when they need to figure out a trip or book some flights. It is not a fancy place at all, just a few simple desks and some computers that have seen better days. Dealing with travel can be a real headache with all the different rules always changing, so we spend most of our time staring at screens or talking on the phone to various airlines. Sometimes the internet slows down or a booking gets stuck in the system, and we have to spend time calling people back. It is a lot of back and forth most days. We handle things like train tickets and international flights for folks around here. It gets pretty loud in the office during the afternoons when the market outside is busy and the traffic picks up. Most of the people who come to us are regulars from the neighborhood. We do not really bother with those glossy brochures, we just print out what you need and hand it over. The printer in the corner makes a loud grinding noise every time we use it, but it still works for now. We keep a stack of old magazines on the small table for people to look at while they wait. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door if the wind is blowing the right way. It is just about getting tickets sorted.
