We’re currently based out of a location care of Naardeep Singh Tokas here in New Delhi. It’s more of a private office setting rather than a big public storefront. We deal with the behind-the-scenes side of things for hotels and spas. This means a lot of scheduling, looking at supply lists, and talking to vendors. It’s not as relaxing as being in an actual spa. Most of our day is spent at desks looking at screens. We don't have a lot of staff, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. One day it’s accounting, the next day it’s figuring out why the laundry service is late. It’s a bit of a juggle. The office is pretty quiet, which helps when we need to concentrate. We don't have a big sign outside or a lobby filled with flowers. It’s just a place where the business side of hospitality gets sorted out. We drink a lot of water and try to keep the desk clutter to a minimum, though it never stays that way for long. We’ve been at this for a while and have learned that things rarely go perfectly. We just deal with the problems as they pop up and keep things moving. It’s a decent way to earn a living without too much drama. We prefer keeping our head down and just getting the numbers right.
