Capital Travels

You can find our office at Rz197Q/15 in the Tughlaka Bad Extension. It’s a bit tucked away in the lanes of Delhi -19. We mostly handle travel bookings and tickets for folks around here. The office is pretty small, just a couple of desks and some old chairs for people to sit on while they wait. We have a lot of papers and folders piled up because there’s always something to keep track of. It isn’t a very modern space, but it works for what we need. The noise from the street outside is constant, mostly rickshaws and people talking, so we usually keep the door half-shut. We spend our days looking at flight schedules and trying to find options for people wanting to go home or visit family. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to tell people to come back in an hour. It’s frustrating, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. We’ve been in this part of Tughlaka Bad for a long time now. There is a tea stall right around the corner where we get our chai every morning. We know most of the regulars who come in to book their yearly trips. It’s a straightforward job without any of that corporate polish. We just sit here, take the calls, and try to get the tickets printed out without the machine jamming. It’s a busy, dusty little office but it is where we work.
