Caper Travel

Down here at Panwar Bhawan in Srinagar Garhwal, things are usually moving pretty fast. We’re in the travel business, so there is always someone asking about buses or mountain routes. The address is 246174 for anyone looking for us on the map. It’s a busy spot in India. We spend most of our mornings checking schedules and talking to drivers. The office isn't much to look at, just some chairs and maps on the walls. It gets cold here in the winters but we just keep the heater going and stay busy. People come in looking for help with their trips and we do what we can. It’s a lot of phone calls and writing things down in ledgers. We’ve been at this for a while now. The street outside stays noisy with all the traffic heading further into the hills. It’s just how life is in this part of town. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts, so we keep everything on paper too. It’s not a fancy corporate place at all. It’s just us, the Caper Travel team, trying to make sure people get where they need to go. We know the local roads pretty well. If you find yourself near the Bhawan, you’ll see our sign. It's a lot of work but it keeps us on our toes every day.
