We are located on the first floor over in Rishi Nagar, right in the middle of Kotla Mubarakpur. It’s a very busy part of New Delhi, and there’s always something happening on the street below. Caper Travel Company has been around this area for a long time. Our office, number 1729, is usually filled with maps and travel brochures that we’ve collected over the years. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. People walk in all the time asking for directions or about train tickets. We try to help them out as much as we can. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so you have to watch your step. I’ve spent many years sitting at this same desk, watching the city change outside the window. We get a lot of noise from the market nearby, but you get used to it after a week or two. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just open the windows and wait it out. It’s a small operation, mostly just a few of us who have worked together for ages. We don't use any fancy systems, just our notebooks and the computer. It’s just how we run our travel business here in the heart of the city. Most of our clients are locals or people who found us by word of mouth. It's enough to keep us busy. We like it here.
