Cambay Family Holidays

Our office is at B-12 in Madanpur Khadar, which is over by Sarita Vihar. It’s a bit of a busy corner of New Delhi. We’ve been here for a while now, just a small group of us working out of this space. It’s mostly desks piled with papers and some photos of places we’ve sent people to. We don't have a big fancy storefront with neon lights. It’s just a door with our name on it. Most days are spent on the phone or typing away on the keyboards, trying to get hotel bookings sorted. It can get a bit loud when everyone is talking at once, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that we’ve just learned to ignore. We have a small kettle for making tea, and that’s usually going all day long. Sometimes people from the neighborhood drop in just to chat or ask about a trip they’re thinking of taking. We don't use any big corporate talk here. We just tell it like it is and try to make sure the dates line up. The office feels a bit lived-in, with calendars hanging everywhere and boxes of old files in the corner. It’s a simple way to work, but we like it this way. We know the area well and most of the shops around us. It’s just a normal day-to-day business in a busy city. We take our lunches together when we have the time.
