You can find us at 1062 in Laxman Vihar Phase II. This is over in Gurgaon, away from the big high-rise buildings that most people think of when they hear about this city. Cambata Aviation Pvt Ltd has been based out of this spot for quite some time. The neighborhood is mostly residential and small businesses, so it feels a bit more relaxed than the city center. Our building is pretty simple and fits right in with the others on the street. It’s not a corporate headquarters with a lobby and a receptionist in a suit. It’s just us in a regular office space getting things organized. Working in the aviation sector means we deal with a lot of schedules, even from here. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, which happens a lot in Gurgaon. We have a few desks, some computers, and a lot of files. Most of the people working here have been with us for years, so we’re a tight-knit group. We don’t really do much in terms of marketing; we just focus on the contracts and the work that needs doing at the airport. It’s a long drive to the actual terminals from here depending on the traffic, but we make it work. It’s a quiet spot to handle the busy side of the business. We usually grab lunch from the local shops around Phase II and talk about our day.
