Our office is over in Rajouri Garden, specifically at J-23. It’s a busy part of New Delhi, and there is always something happening right outside our door. Aviation is a tough business with weird hours, so someone is usually here even when it’s dark out. We don't have planes parked in the backyard or anything like that; this is where we handle the logistics and the office work. The rooms are filled with old folders and binders from years of keeping track of ground handling stuff. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but we like the location because there are plenty of places to grab a quick bite. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years while we’ve stayed right here. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise on high speed, but it’s our space. We spend our days talking to crews and making sure the ground operations are lined up. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure people are where they are supposed to be. Most of us have been in this industry for a long time, so we don’t need a lot of direction. We just come in, do our bits, and head home when the shift is over. It’s a steady job in a noisy, vibrant part of the city.
