Call Center

We are over at 3Rd D 32 in Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad. It is a pretty standard call center setup in a three-story building. We occupy the third floor, which means a lot of climbing if the power is out, though we usually have the lift running. Nehru Nagar is a busy area with a lot of coaching centers and small offices. Our space is filled with rows of cubicles and headsets. It is never really quiet here because even at night, we have a shift going. The carpet is a bit worn out from all the chairs rolling around, and the walls are a plain off-white. We have a small break area with a water cooler where everyone hangs out for ten minutes between calls. It is not the most glamorous job, but it is what we do. We do not have a big corporate logo in the lobby or anything. It is just a place where people come to work their hours. The computers are a bit old and sometimes the internet gets slow when everyone is logged on at once. We deal with it. Outside, there is a small shop where we all go to get samosas in the evening. It is a very local feel for a business that talks to people far away. Just a group of people in Ghaziabad doing their daily shift.
