Call Center, India Airlines

Our team works out of House No 204/A, which is over in Arjun Nagar. We are up on the third floor, so we get a bit of a view of the Safdarjung Enclave area if we look out the back windows. The office is right behind the Bada Gurudwara, and we can often hear the sounds from there during the day, which is actually quite nice. It’s a busy call center environment, so there is almost always the sound of people talking on their headsets. We deal with a lot of different things related to airline travel, mostly answering questions and trying to sort out issues for people. The space is filled with cubicles and computer monitors that never seem to get turned off. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs every morning, but it keeps us moving. Safdarjung is a lively part of Delhi, and there are always plenty of places to get a quick snack or a tea during our breaks. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical place for us to sit and do our jobs. We have a lot of regular staff who have been here for years, so we’re like a small family in some ways. We deal with the stress of the phones by joking around with each other when things get slow. It’s just a regular Delhi office where we work hard and try to help people get where they need to go.
