Cafe Deja Vu (Food Court)

Cafe Deja Vu is a small spot located inside the food court at F-8 Pallavpuram Phase-1. We are up here in Meerut, U.P., serving people who come through the mall or the local area. It is a typical food court setup, so it can get quite loud and busy, especially on the weekends when families come out. We spend most of our time behind the counter, making food and keeping the tables as clean as we can. It’s not a five-star restaurant or anything like that; it is just a place to get something to eat while you are out. We have been in Pallavpuram for a bit, and we know many of the regulars who work in the nearby shops. The kitchen is small but we make it work. Sometimes the orders pile up and people have to wait a little longer, but that is just how it goes in a food court. We don't have a big marketing team or fancy commercials. We just put the menu up and hope people like the food. Most of the staff are local Meerut kids or folks from around the neighborhood. It is a straightforward job, and we enjoy the fast pace of the lunchtime rush. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to make sure you get your meal and enjoy your break at the food court.
