Cafe Cofee Day

We've been here at H. No. 4 in South Ex. Amrit Nagar for a while now. Most days it’s just us running Cafe Cofee Day and trying to keep the machines going and the tables clean for whoever walks in. It’s not a huge place, just a corner where you can sit down for a bit. People from around the neighborhood stop by, some just for a quick cup and others stay way longer than they probably should. The mornings are usually the busiest because everyone is rushing to work or getting their day started. We don't really do anything fancy here, just what you'd expect from a local spot. Sometimes the music is a bit loud or we run out of something on the menu, but we try to fix it pretty quick. Being in South Ex means there is always something going on outside the door. We see a lot of the same faces every week which is nice. It feels more like a community spot than anything else. We handle everything ourselves, from the cleaning to making the drinks. It's a lot of work but it keeps us busy. If you’re walking through Amrit Nagar and need a seat, you’ll find us easily enough. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in Delhi, just a reliable one where the chairs are comfortable and the light is okay for reading or just staring out the window. That’s pretty much the whole story of our little place.
