Caf Ballet & Bazigar Restaurant

You can find us at Wz-33A/3, right on Street No. 17 in New Delhi. It is a bit of a squeeze getting down the street sometimes because of the parked scooters and people walking by, but that is just how this part of Delhi 110018 is. The restaurant, Caf Ballet & Bazigar, is basically our second home. The kitchen is almost always hot and smells like whatever we are cooking that hour. We have got some tables and chairs set up, nothing too stylish, just enough for folks to sit down and eat their meal. We spend most of the day prepping ingredients or washing up after the lunch rush. It gets pretty hectic around noon when the local workers come in for a bite. We do not have a big team, just a few of us making sure the food goes out and the place stays relatively clean. The walls have a few scuffs and the floor has seen a lot of foot traffic over the years. We hear the noise from Street 17 all day long, from the vegetable sellers to the kids playing outside. It is an honest living and we like the people who stop by to chat. We do not do anything fancy with the decor, we just focus on the stove and the orders. If you are looking for us, just keep an eye out for the sign near the corner of the alleyway.
