Bureau Of Indian Standards

We are based at 103, Yash Apartment in Plot - 9 of Sector - 11, Dwarka. This is where we do our work for the Bureau of Indian Standards. Dwarka is a huge residential hub in New Delhi-110075, and we are tucked away in one of the many apartment blocks here. It’s a quiet enough spot for the most part. Our office is just a regular apartment that’s been filled with desks and tall filing cabinets. We spend our time looking over standards and making sure everything is up to code. It’s a lot of technical reading and sometimes it gets a bit dry, but we take it seriously. We’ve been in this building for several years now. You can usually find us surrounded by books and papers. We aren't a big public-facing office, so we don't get many visitors. It’s mostly just us and the sounds of the neighborhood. The local markets are nearby, so we often go out for a quick bite at lunch. We’ve seen Dwarka grow from a bunch of empty plots into this massive city within a city. It’s quite impressive how much has changed. Our office hasn't changed much, though. We still have the same old furniture and the same routine. We just focus on our checklists and making sure the standards are maintained. It’s not exciting work for everyone, but it’s what we do every day to stay busy and productive.
