We run things out of Flat 176 in the Karishma Apartments over in I.P. Extension. It might seem a bit odd to have an office in a residential block, but it works for us. The security guards at the gate know us pretty well by now because we’re always coming and going. It’s a quiet complex for the most part, except for when the kids are playing outside in the afternoons. We handle everything from a small desk in the main room. There’s usually a pot of tea going and some papers scattered around. Managing cars and schedules from an apartment means things stay pretty personal. We don’t have a big shiny showroom or a lobby with a fountain. It’s just a regular flat with some filing cabinets and a few phones. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat, or we have to run down to the parking area to check on something. Being in East Delhi is convenient because we can get to most places fairly quickly if the traffic isn't too bad on the main road. We keep a simple logbook and try to stay on top of the dates. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure a car is where it needs to be when someone needs it. We aren't perfect, and sometimes we lose a pen or a set of keys for a minute, but we always get it sorted eventually.
