British High Commission Club

We are tucked away in Savitri Nagar, right near the Balmiki Mandir. If you know the Malviya Nagar area, you’ve probably walked past our building at 208 A/4 Lg. It’s a bit of a tricky spot to find if you’re not from around here, but once you see the temple, you’re basically there. The club is a place where people just gather and spend time. We don’t have any of those big shiny signs or anything. It feels more like a local hangout than anything official or stiff. The staff here have been around for years and we all know the regulars by name. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the street is busy, but inside it’s mostly just people chatting and doing their thing. We keep the place running day in and day out. There’s always something that needs fixing or a lightbulb that needs changing, which keeps us busy. It’s a bit of an old-school vibe, not like those modern places in the malls. We like it that way. Most of the people who come in live close by or work in the neighborhood. It's just a regular part of Savitri Nagar life. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just provide a space for folks. If the tea is hot and the chairs are comfortable, most people are happy enough with that. That’s how we’ve always seen it. We just keep the doors open and do our bit.
