Working out of C-161 in Vikashpuri is pretty straightforward. British Airways(Gsa) has been in this spot for a while now. Vikashpuri is a busy residential part of West Delhi, and our office fits right into the local scene. It’s a standard building, and we are just one of the many businesses operating in the area. Inside, the floor is mostly covered in folders and stacks of documents that we need to process. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff we actually need to look at every day. The desks are a bit old, and the chairs have seen better days, but they do the job. We spend most of our time on the phone or responding to messages. It’s a lot of back and forth, making sure the details are right. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front windows and it gets a bit warm, so we keep the curtains drawn. We usually get our tea from a guy who comes around with a kettle, which is a nice break in the middle of everything. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment with suits and ties. We just wear what’s comfortable and focus on getting through the pile of work on our desks. It’s a quiet, steady kind of place where we just handle things as they come in without making a big fuss or having long meetings about it.
