Our place is at A-14/F in the DDA Flats over in Munirka, New Delhi. It’s a bit of a specific location, tucked away in the 110067 area. Most people think of airlines as having these giant, fancy headquarters, but we’re just working out of a standard DDA flat. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the files and equipment, but it feels more like a home than a cold office. Munirka is always buzzing with people and students, so there’s a lot of energy right outside our door. We spend most of our shift dealing with all sorts of flight-related paperwork and talking to the main hub. It’s a small team here and we’ve all grown pretty close because of the small space we work in. There’s no big reception desk or shiny logos on the walls. We just have our computers and a few chairs for when we need to sit and figure things out. Sometimes the traffic in Munirka makes getting to work a headache, but once we’re inside, it’s just the usual routine. We don’t put on any acts about being corporate executives. We are just local staff making sure the London flights and other routes are being handled correctly from this end. It’s a plain, honest way to work and it suits the neighborhood we are in. We just keep our heads down and get on with the daily tasks.
