British Airways has this spot at B-603 Nagarjuna Apts, Phase-I in Mayur Vihar. It is up on the sixth floor. Being in an apartment complex makes it feel a bit more like a home than a regular office. We have a view of the other buildings and the streets below in New Delhi. Most of the day is spent on computers or talking to people about flights and tickets. Chilla is a busy area, so there is always noise coming up from the ground. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and eat our lunch together. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow sometimes, so we wait around a lot in the lobby. We have stacks of manuals and papers on the shelves. It is not a huge space, but we make it work for us. People think an airline office would be all shiny, but we have some dusty corners and old chairs just like anywhere else. We keep track of schedules and try to help folks figure out where they are going. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we just have to wait it out and try again. It is practical work. We are not doing anything fancy, just making sure the travel details are sorted for whoever calls or visits the office. It gets quiet in the evenings when the rest of the apartments settle down for the night.
