The British Airways office here is on the 3rd Floor of 42 Ber Sarai, which is right opposite the Old JNU Campus in New Delhi. It’s an interesting spot because we get to see all the students and activity from the university across the street. Being on the third floor, we are a bit removed from the noise of the road, but you can still hear the city hum. We don’t handle the planes here, obviously; this is where the administrative and support work happens. We spend our time going through booking details, handling customer queries, and making sure the office runs smoothly. The building itself is a bit older, which gives it some character compared to the new glass towers in Gurgaon. We have a small pantry where we make tea, and the desks are usually piled with folders and notes. It’s a very grounded workplace. We don’t use a lot of fancy corporate jargon. We just talk to people like normal and try to solve whatever issues come up. Working near Ber Sarai means there are plenty of good food stalls nearby for lunch, which is a nice bonus. We just come in every morning, do our bit to keep the airline's local operations steady, and then head home through the Delhi traffic like everyone else. It is just a regular job in a busy part of the city.
