British Airways World Cargo

This branch of British Airways World Cargo is located in Paschim Vihar at A2B/55C, inside the Ekta Apartment complex. It’s a bit unusual being in an apartment building, but it works for what we need to do. We spend most of our time coordinating shipments and looking at schedules on our screens. This part of New Delhi - 110063 is mostly residential, so it’s fairly calm outside our door compared to the airport. We handle a lot of the documentation that comes with moving freight across borders. It involves a lot of patience and double-checking details. We have a small team here and we’ve gotten to know each other pretty well over the years. Some days the phones are ringing non-stop with people asking where their packages are or when the next flight is leaving. We try to give them the best information we have at the moment. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and filling out forms, but it’s what keeps the cargo moving. Sometimes we have to stay late when there are big shipments or issues with the tracking systems. It’s not a fancy setup, just some computers, a printer that jams occasionally, and plenty of tea to keep us going. We just try to stay organized and make sure we don't lose track of any of the paperwork that comes through our hands every single day.
