Bobby Telecom

Bobby Telecom is located over in Kalkaji Govindpuri, specifically at 1344/8. I started this place because I always liked messing around with gadgets and electronics. Govindpuri is a crowded place with narrow lanes, but 1344/8 is where I spend most of my time. We do a lot of small repairs here. People drop their phones and the screens shatter, so they bring them to me to see if I can fix it cheap. We also sell a lot of sim cards and do recharges for the neighborhood kids and workers. The shop is small and sometimes it gets a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting at the same time. I try to keep the shelves stocked with basic things like headphones and those plastic cases everyone wants. It’s a lot of sitting and waiting for customers, then suddenly five people show up at once wanting different things. I’ve lived around Kalkaji for a long time, so I know most of the faces that walk past the door. We don't have any big corporate rules here. I just open the shutters in the morning and close them late at night. Sometimes I’m working on a phone and someone just wants to stand and chat for a bit. That’s just how it is in this part of town. It’s a simple shop for simple needs and that seems to work out okay for everyone involved. We just keep the lights on and the tools ready.
