Blue Fire Restaurant

We are located at Be-58 in Shalimar Bagh West. Blue Fire Restaurant is really just a place where we cook the food we like and hope the neighbors like it too. The kitchen is usually the loudest part of the building, with the sound of pans clanking and the tandoor getting fired up early in the afternoon. We spend a lot of our time prepping vegetables and making sure the spices are just right. It is a local spot, so we see a lot of the same faces every week. Some people have been coming here since we first opened the doors. The dining area isn't huge, but it gets the job done. We don't have a team of fancy designers; we just put out some chairs and tables where people can sit and eat. Sometimes the service gets a bit slow when the weekend rush hits, but we do our best to keep up. We try to keep the place clean and the food hot. That is pretty much the whole plan. The street outside can get a bit crowded with cars, especially in the evenings, but that’s just life in Shalimar Bagh. We don’t go in for those long menus with things nobody can pronounce. We just cook what we know. The staff is mostly local guys who live nearby. It is hard work and the hours are long, but seeing someone finish their plate makes it worth it.
