We operate out of B-148 in Sushant Lok, which is right in the heart of Gurgaon. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know how hectic it can get with all the traffic and new buildings going up every week. Our office isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a standard building in a busy block. We handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes work for the hotel side of things here. It's not a glamorous job, mostly just making sure the bookings are right and the supplies are ordered for the properties. Gurgaon is a fast-moving place, and we try to keep up with it as best as we can. Some of us have been working in this office for years, so we’ve seen the whole area change from empty lots to what it is now. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time on the phone with different vendors. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing all afternoon. It can be stressful when things go wrong at one of the properties, but we just buckle down and fix it. We aren't part of some giant global chain with thousands of rules, we just do things our own way. It’s about being practical and getting the work done so the guests are happy, even if they never see this office. We usually leave for home when the traffic starts getting really bad in the evening.
