Bird Travel

We are based at A22/4 in South Ext., Part 1, which is a pretty well-known part of New Delhi. It’s a busy market area, so there are always shoppers and cars everywhere. Our office is a small space where we sit and work on travel arrangements. We have posters of different countries on the walls, though most of them are a few years old now. The phones ring quite a bit, mostly people asking about ticket prices or flight times. It gets a bit hectic during the holiday seasons, but we manage to keep things moving. We aren't a giant company with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us who have been working together for a long time. We know the local shops around South Ext. and where to get the best snacks in the afternoon. Sometimes the street noise gets a bit much, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there at a desk to talk to you. We spend our days staring at screens and talking to airlines. It’s a lot of detail work. We try to keep the place organized, but there are always stacks of brochures sitting around. It feels like a real office where people actually work, not just a showroom. We like the location even if the parking is impossible.
