Binary Semantics Ltd

Our office is actually tucked away in the Sutlej Hostel at Jawaharlal Nehru University. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a company, but being on the JNU campus gives it a very specific feel. You have students walking around all the time and the whole place is full of trees and old buildings. We are in room 127, so it’s not a huge office by any means. We have our computers set up and we spend most of our time staring at screens and dealing with whatever technical stuff comes up that day. The campus is huge, so sometimes it’s a bit of a walk just to get some food or to meet someone at the gate. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of university life. It’s much quieter than the rest of New Delhi, which is something we really appreciate. Sometimes we get interrupted by the usual hostel noise, but mostly it’s a good place to focus. We don't have any big signs out front or anything. People who need to find us usually know where we are. It’s just a small team of us working through projects. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with suits and meetings. We just sit down, do the work, and maybe go for a walk around the campus when we need a break. It is a bit of a different way to run a business but it works for us.
