Indigo Holidays

Somdutt Chamber-1 is a big, busy building and we are down in LG-15. Being in the lower ground floor means we don't get much of a view of Bikaji Cama Place, but it keeps us cool during the Delhi heat. The office is usually packed with brochures, old itineraries, and notebooks. There’s always a phone ringing or someone typing away on a keyboard. We’ve been doing this for a long time at Indigo Holidays, helping people figure out where they want to go next. It’s not always glamorous; a lot of it is just waiting on hold or fixing mistakes in a booking. We have a little sitting area for people who walk in, but it’s often covered in maps or folders. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is something we all look forward to. It’s a bit of a maze in this building, and sometimes people get lost looking for us the first time. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. We aren't wearing suits and ties every day. It’s more of a shirt-sleeves kind of environment. We talk a lot about places we’ve never been to ourselves, but we know the routes well enough. It’s just a small team of us here, trying to stay organized in the middle of all the paperwork and travel dates. It’s busy, but it’s what we do. We manage to get through it every single day.
