Big Apple

Big Apple is located at 17/18 Shakti Nagar Delhi-7. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. It is not a huge place, just a few rooms where we get the work done. The name Big Apple sounded good when we started, though we are right here in Delhi, far from New York. Mostly, it’s just us answering phones and sorting out whatever comes through the door. The street outside is usually pretty loud with rickshaws and people heading to the market. We have some old desks that have seen better days, and the fan in the corner makes a clicking sound if you turn it up too high. People stop by sometimes just to ask for directions because our sign is easy to spot. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just stacks of paper and the smell of tea from the stall downstairs. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour, so we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s a decent place to spend the day. We know the neighbors, like the guy who sells stationery two shops down. We’ve stayed in this spot because it's familiar and it works for us. There isn't much more to say. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It's a simple life at 17/18 Shakti Nagar.
