Big Apple Cell Point

We are set up on Mustafabad Main Bripuri Road. This road is always moving with bikes and people going to work. Big Apple Cell Point is just one of the shops along this stretch. We have a glass counter where we keep the phones and accessories. It gets a lot of fingerprints on it every day, so we are always wiping it down with a cloth. The shop isn’t very big, so we have to use the wall space for all the chargers and headphones we stock. We don’t have a lot of help, just a couple of us who take turns being at the front. When someone comes in with a broken phone, we take a look and tell them what we think. Most of the time, we are busy with small things like screen guards or data transfers. There is a small stool in the back where we take our lunch breaks. The ceiling fan hums quite a bit, which you get used to after a while. Sometimes the rain comes down hard on the road and everything slows down for an hour. We just stay inside and organize the drawers. It is a practical place. We don’t have fancy signs or uniforms. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and start the day. It is a lot of standing and talking to people from the neighborhood.
