It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you don’t know the area well, but once you find the landmark, it’s easy. Bharti Axa Life Insurance might sound like a big corporate name, but this specific office is very much a local affair. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a lot of paper. The traffic on the main road nearby is always a headache, so we usually get in early to beat the worst of it. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who walk in off the street with questions. It’s not always quiet; usually, there’s a radio playing somewhere or the sound of the ceiling fan humming overhead. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a room where we sit and work. We drink a lot of chai from the stall next door and try to stay on top of things. The Tigri Extension is a busy place, and we feel like we are part of the local scenery now. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to wait around, but that’s just how it goes. It’s a practical place for practical work. We just keep our heads down and do what we need to do before heading home at the end of the day.
