Bharti Airtel

This is the Bharti Airtel office over at B-159 in New Ashok Nagar, Delhi. If you know the 96 area code part of town, you know it’s a crowded place with narrow streets and a lot of people living close together. Our shop is just like any other local business here. We have a counter, some stools for customers, and a lot of posters on the walls showing different plans. It gets very busy in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and stops by to fix something with their phone. The air conditioner works most of the time, which is a relief because Delhi summers are no joke. We deal with all sorts of things, from sim cards to people complaining about their internet speed. It’s a lot of talking and explaining the same things over and over, but that’s the job. The staff here are just regular people from the neighborhood. We know the guy who sells snacks next door and the cycle-rickshaw drivers who wait at the corner. The office isn't particularly fancy or modern-looking. It’s functional and serves the people living in New Ashok Nagar. We keep the drawers full of forms and the pens usually go missing by noon. It’s just a typical day at a local branch where we try to get through the queue of people as best as we can.
